Is it narration???help plz?

I was in train last month and I saw an old lady sitting with a book in her hands. I thought she was reading some novel . so I asked her what is the book name she said it is her course book and she is learning for her exam .I was shocked because she was more than sixty .but seeing me astonished she said see never got time and opportunity to give tenth exam as she had a big family and her mother in law hated educated woman and that is why she had married her son to an illiterate girl of poor family who would serve her in laws house like a maid which she has done whole life. now she is free as her in laws are dead and children are settled in life.she always wanted to study and so she is giving her exam for tenth.I felt very sad for her and thought about of people who have freedom to do anything in their life. but there are some persons like her who have to wait for their Independence in this free country for so many years. this event has changed my life and attitudes toward my in laws who gave me full freedom.
