None of my friends are in my cl this year what do I do?

I go to a really small school (about 36 kids in the whole grade) and this year my two closest friends aren't in my cl. I have known pretty much all the kids in the grade since kindergarten so its basically impossible to make new friends. All of our cles are with our homeroom soo the only time I'll see my friends is for 10 minutes at a snack time and 15 minutes at lunch. I am extremely shy so this makes in even more difficult. What can I do? (by the way I go to a private school not that it really matters)
